A special Saturday with students from King's
The Creativity Centre might be new, but it has been extremely blessed to have such a wonderful group of facilitators volunteer to join the cause and contribute to bringing accessible inspiring activities to the local community.
King's University students volunteered in the set-up, hosting, and take down of our 5 drop-in art stations and tea tasting Saturday on September 8th. Their warm reception and beautiful sample crafts inspired those who attended and we are so grateful for the contribution these young people are making to London. As part of their orientation, first year King's students bused to various locations in London to volunteer for local charities and non-profit organizations. This year, St. John's Creativity Centre was on their list for 12 of those students entering such areas as early childhood education, disability studies, thanatology, and criminology.
Thank you to all who came and the students who made it a memorable and special event.
